How to properly set a ‘s
All modern wine coolers include a digital interface through which users can change settings and program the unit. Temperature settings can be altered here.
However, the level of temperature adjustments you can make will be limited by the wine cooler itself, as each model wine fridge has different temperature capabilities. A thermoelectric wine cooler, for example, cannot reach the same low temperatures as a compressor-powered wine cooler.
You could also have a single zone or dual zone wine cooler.
If you have a dual zone unit, you will be able to independently adjust the temperature of each storage compartment at the same time.
Finally, consider the location of the wine fridge. For example, will it be stored in a cool wine cellar or in a kitchen, possibly next to a hot radiator? This will have an effect on the temperature settings on your wine cooler.
We strongly advise placing your wine fridge in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight, which is why a wine cellar is frequently the best option. A wine cabinet with a fridge inside is also a great option.
Having said that, we strongly advise you to read your wine fridge’s instruction manual rather than attempting to guess how to adjust the temperature. This is especially important if you are storing a large collection or expensive wines that are irreplaceable, as any mistake could result in the wine not being properly cooled. As a result, it is critical to get it right from the start.
